Celebrating the deeply emotional bond that Dominicans have with baseball
A Place full of Emotions being our slogan, Tiendas La Sirena has always celebrated all things close to Dominican's hearts. Each year, we chose a culturally relevant occasion like Mothers Day or Christmas, to launch a series of commercials that showcased the way Dominicans embrace the emotion of those seasons. It was a matter of time until we had that chance to celebrate a passion that runs on every drop of Dominican blood: the love for baseball.
During the National Baseball Season in 2015, we met Don Claudio, a baseball fan by the books, and we wanted to surprise him by introducing him to his more beloved idol, the Dominican sports legend Luis Polonia. The result was a really emotive series of videos that proved our love for baseball has no age.

These commercials generated a beautiful connection with the audience.
With 30 seconds clips from the story running on open TV and other content initiatives in Social Media, we manage to keep the campaign relevant throughout the 4 months of Baseball Season.
Following the success of the campaign, for the next National Season, we wanted to build on the same concept, now showing the story of a small league and their journey towards becoming the biggest stars of Dominican baseball.
Both years, we took the emotions of these stories from the screen to the streets, with a set of billboards that showed theses baseball aficionados as important characters of our love for baseball.
